Finance/Accounts Executive at Smooth Promotions

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Accounting/Finance Executive to provide financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support to our organization. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process and pay vendor invoices, ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Accounts Receivable: Process and apply customer payments, ensure accurate and timely application.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Audits: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits.
• Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, including analyzing historical data and identifying trends.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial reports, including monthly management reports, quarterly financial statements, and annual reports.
• Special Projects: Assist in special projects, such as financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and process improvements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stakeholder Support: Provide financial analysis and support to stakeholders, including management, investors, and external partners.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar industry.
• Certifications: ICAN or related qua will be an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software, including Excel, financial modeling tools, and accounting systems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
