About the Role
- Rasad is an evolving business that has experienced rapid growth over the last three years. As we continue to grow and transform the Nigeria cocoa industry, we are seeking a Finance and Account Operations Associate to support this transformation.
- The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and strategic insight to streamline our finance operations and support informed decision-making.
- You will work closely with the CEO and operational teams to build a financial structure that enhances cost management, investment decisions, and operational efficiency.
- This role requires hands-on SAP experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the finance and operations teams to deliver divisional objectives and implement strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and budget holders to provide clear, actionable financial insights to guide decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, ensuring alignment with group timetables.
- Establish and maintain transparent financial reporting processes to withstand management scrutiny.
- Own and update the Risks and Opportunities log identifying areas for improvement and mitigating potential financial risks.
Person Specification
- Professional Qualification: Qualified Accountant (AAT/ACA).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of SAP or ERP system usage, with a proven track record of driving finance and operational improvements.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Hands-On Approach: Comprehensive understanding of finance and operational processes, with the ability to execute and drive change.
