We are recruiting a brilliant and results-driven candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Sheridan, Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements
- Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets
- Monitor the cash flow of the company to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs
- Prepare analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs
- Prepare and monitor the company’s credit facility and develop Credit policies
- Prepare periodic financial reports for the company
- Engage supplier negotiations
- Ensuring legal compliance of the organization’s financial activities.
- Producing financial projections based on data analysis.
- Conducting regular financial audits to establish the organisation’s credibility and increase investor confidence.
- Proactively implementing cost-cutting strategies as and when needed.
- Monitor organizations performance
- Supervise execution of financial processes
- Developing financial and tax strategies that protect and optimise the company’s resources
- Manage financial audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions to ensure that the company has access to the necessary capital to fund its operations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations and help achieve their objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience with financial management software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must live within the Lekki-Ajah-Sangotedo axis of Lagos State.
