Job Summary

  • The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • This role plays a crucial part in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management across the group.
  • The Finance Officer works closely with departments and subsidiaries to ensure alignment with the organization’s financial goals, driving sound financial governance and ensuring compliance with both domestic and international financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements, interpret data, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Managing budget, and cash flows and reviewing cost reduction strategies.
  • Monitoring the Company’s group key performance indicators, assisting in strategy and forecasts, handling performance reporting, and increasing operational efficiency and execution Company-wide.
  • Researching and reporting on factors that influence the company’s performance and analyzing and predicting market trends.
  • Developing financial management strategies to reduce financial risk, providing relevant recommendations to maximize profits, and assisting executives in decision-making.
  • Developing external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers and other statutory.

Key Performance Indicators

  • The Holding Company has both financial and non-financial KPIs that are driving value alignment/optimization across all subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • First Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. A second degree or a related professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years post-graduation experience within the financial services sector.
  • Solid knowledge of group reporting, financial regulations, and accounting procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
