We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties, and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company’s bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
• Open and maintain new bank accounts and onboard financial services as needed to support business growth.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure the availability of funds to meet operational and strategic requirements.
• Oversee and manage tax remittances, ensuring accurate submission of tax filings with regulatory requirements,
• Perform core accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
• Ensure that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain compliance documentation and oversee audits to uphold transparency and accountability
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and advise the leadership team on compliance matter

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree
• Certification: ICAN certification (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is mandatory.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, operations, or a related leadership role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Confidentiality: High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
