Job Summary

• We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Fixed Income and Equities Trader. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Nigeria’s financial markets, specifically in the fixed income and global markets space.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for financial analysis, attention to detail, and a keen interest in capital markets.

Key Responsibilities
Trading Activities:

• Execute trades in fixed income and equity instruments under supervision.
• Monitor market conditions, news, and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate trade execution while adhering to regulatory and company policies.

Market Analysis:

• Conduct fundamental and technical analysis to support trading decisions.
• Prepare daily market updates and trading reports for the team.

Portfolio Support:

• Assist in managing portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
• Track performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Adhere to trading limits and risk management guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on market trends, financial instruments, and trading strategies.
• Participate in training sessions and industry certifications to enhance skills.

Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Core sciences, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• Prior experience or internship in financial markets, trading, or investment management is a plus but not required.

Other Requirements:

• Interest in capital markets and a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of financial instruments such as bonds, stocks, and derivatives is desirable.
• Must possess a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.

Salary

• N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
