1). Factory Electrician
Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Overview
- The Electrician is responsible for maintaining voltage circuits and performing basic electrical operations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical systems within the factory facility.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical control principles, be adept at reading and interpreting electrical control schematic diagram, be good in Direct online connection and star delta connection.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on voltage circuits and electrical systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Performing Direct Online connection and Delta and star delta connection
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform installation and testing of electrical power plant equipments, transformers, circuit breakers, relay control panels, distribution lines and auxillary equipment.
- Install new voltage electrical systems and components as required.
- Read and interpret electrical control schematic diagrams to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to electrical maintenance and safety.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Report any major issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND with 2 – 4 years experience.
- Experience working as an electrician or electrical engineer
- Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control principles and familiarity with electrical control schematic diagrams.
- Good Knowledge of electrical control components such as switches, relays, contactors and sensors.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of Direct Online Connection (DOL) and Delta/star delta connection.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.

2). Safety Officer (Mining Site)
Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa

Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated Mining Site Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards, minimize workplace hazards, and promote a culture of safety at our mining site.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure that all operations comply with applicable safety standards and regulations, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the site to identify and rectify hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions to enhance employees’ awareness and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in the development and execution of emergency response plans and drills to ensure site readiness for emergencies.
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, and prepare reports for management review.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 1 – 4 years work experience.
- Familiarity with Nigerian mining safety regulations and standards.
- Proven work experience in a safety role, preferably in the mining industry.
- Relevant safety certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and communicate safety policies to employees.
- Ability to work onsite in potentially challenging environments and actively participate in inspections and audits.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify hazards and propose effective solutions.
Salary
- N90,000 – N140,000 / month.
