1). Terminal Accountant-Yenagoa
Location: Bayelsa
Job Details
- Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports.
- Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Investigate and resolve/ escalate audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non compliance.
- Provide oversight to Terminal Accountants and assigned subordinates.
- Prepare federal, state, local, and special regulatory returns.
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures.
- Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Accounting
- ACCA/ICAN professional certifiacte will be an added advantage
- You must possess strong knowledge of accounting
- You are organized and can prioritize effectively
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas

2). Experience Officers
Location: Jibowu/Akpakpava/Old Ojo/Bayelsa
Key Responsibilities
- Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guest
- Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system
- Create and maintain guest reservation records
- Resolve service problems by clarifying the guest complaint via phone, email, and in person
- Forward booking/travelling reschedule request to the concerned unit
- Serve guests by providing service information related to travelling schedule, fare, & payment
- Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system
- Assist in guest luggage check-in Ensure customer complaints & emergency concerns are escalated to the appropriate quarters
- Adhere to the company’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly & helpful to guests, managers & fellow employees.
- Promote the online booking, app downloads and other products and services of the company to customers
