1). Terminal Accountant-Yenagoa

Location: Bayelsa

Job Details

  • Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports.
  • Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigate and resolve/ escalate audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non compliance.
  • Provide oversight to Terminal Accountants and assigned subordinates.
  • Prepare federal, state, local, and special regulatory returns.
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs and procedures.
  • Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.

Key Requirements

  •  A degree in Accounting
  • ACCA/ICAN professional certifiacte will be an added advantage
  • You must possess strong knowledge of accounting
  • You are organized and can prioritize effectively
  • You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas

2). Experience Officers

Location:  Jibowu/Akpakpava/Old Ojo/Bayelsa

Key Responsibilities 

  • Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guest
  • Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system
  •  Create and maintain guest reservation records
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the guest complaint via phone, email, and in person
  • Forward booking/travelling reschedule request to the concerned unit
  • Serve guests by providing service information related to travelling schedule, fare, & payment
  • Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system
  • Assist in guest luggage check-in Ensure customer complaints & emergency concerns are escalated to the appropriate quarters
  • Adhere to the company’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
  • Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly & helpful to guests, managers & fellow employees.
  • Promote the online booking, app downloads and other products and services of the company to customers
