Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary
- The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the face of the clinic, providing a warm and welcoming experience for every patient. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, optimizing the daily schedule for maximum efficiency.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address patient questions about services, billing, or appointments.
- Collect and update patient information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process billing and payments, and assist patients with insurance queries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
- Handle patient complaints or concerns tactfully and escalate when necessary
Requirements
- HND or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or customer service is a plus.
- 0 – 3 years of experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with dental management software (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
