Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

Location: Ojodu-Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead and oversee front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth daily check-in/check-out procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in hospitality or customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support front desk staff in handling guest arrivals, departures, and inquiries.
  • Ensure efficient and professional check-in and check-out processes.
  • Resolve guest complaints and service issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor reservations and room assignments to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest preferences.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Handle escalated issues or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
  • Monitor the appearance, attitude, and performance of front desk team members.
  • Prepare daily reports and assist in administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and guest privacy standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; a degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a front desk agent or receptionist in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in hotel management software
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
