Job Description
- Welcome guests and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and providing information about the hotel or restaurant facilities and services.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues and complaints effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle VIP guests and special requests with tact and discretion.
- Manage room reservations and booking inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and payment details.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely room readiness and smooth guest transitions.
- Maintain a well-organized and presentable front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies and materials are readily available.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Issue room keys and ensure proper security measures are followed for guest safety.
- Manage incoming calls and redirect them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Respond to emails and handle guest correspondence professionally and promptly.
- Provide accurate information about local attractions, transportation, and events to assist guests in making the most of their stay.
- Offer assistance with luggage, transportation arrangements, and other guest requests as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years’ experience as a hospital front desk
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in using computer systems, reservation software, and office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
