Job Title: Front Office Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibiliites

  • Supervise Front Desk
  • Operations: Ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train new front desk staff and provide ongoing support to ensure adherence to hotel standards and protocols.
  • Guest Services Management: Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure guest inquiries and requests are handled efficiently.
  • Shift Management: Supervise and manage the front desk team during assigned shifts. Ensure proper staffing levels and shift schedules to meet guest needs.
  • Administrative and Recordkeeping: Manage guest accounts, billing, payments, and reservation updates. Ensure accurate records are maintained for check-ins, check-outs, and changes.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues.
  • Monitor Guest Feedback: Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality. Conduct quality checks to ensure front desk operations meet guest expectations.
  • Manage Operational Challenges: Handle overbookings, VIP guests, and special requests.  Address emergencies or issues in collaboration with security or other departments.
  • Report Generation: Prepare daily reports on guest arrivals, departures, and front desk activity. Compile reports for senior management on performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Assist in managing cash flow, payments, and ensure accurate financial transactions. Monitor cash handling and ensure the security of financial records.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree / HND / FSLC qualification with 3-5 years work experience.
