We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Full-Time Pharmacist

Location: Ibeju-Lekki (Malete Bus-Stop) Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating the overall activities as well as supervise all sales staff in the pharmacy.
• Dispensing of drugs
• Assisting in general administrative task.
• Patient counselling and education on medication use.
• Monitoring and ensuring adequate stock level (to avoid out of stock and overstocking)
• Monitoring drug expiration dates
• Carrying out routine medical checks such as blood pressure measurement, body mass index, blood glucose measurement and malaria test.
• Maintaining proper inventories and ordering of drugs
• Coordinating drug stock taking and shelving according to class
• Verification of deliveries and costing
• Drive the process of collecting data of customers who visit the pharmacy
• Support the design and execution of health awareness campaigns and outreaches that would help drive the business of the pharmacy
• Ensure that controlled drugs and poisons register of the pharmacy are properly kept
• Drive the medication use review process and ensure that all records are properly kept
• Ensure all financial and strategic targets are met
• Ensure proper documentation and resolution of all issues regarding customers return inwards
• Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints
• Assist the full time pharmacist to ensure all wrongly procured stock are promptly returned to the source of purchase at the soonest possible time
• Supervise pharmacy assistants to ensure proper shelving and merchandising of all items of stock
• Assist the full time pharmacist in competitive scanning of the environment by keeping a tab on the activities of competing businesses with a view to staying ahead of competition
• Assist the ful time pharmacist in the process of periodic stock taking and resolving all discrepancies arising thereof
• Drive the customer management process to ensure all customers are satisfied
• Supervise he timely opening and closing of the pharmacy
• Supervise the prompt disposal of all waste generated in the pharmacy
• Supervise the responsible staff to ensure all appliances within the pharmacy are functioning optimally
• Supervise the prompt posting of invoices once procurements are made
• Ensure all errands are run at the right time to guarantee smooth running of the pharmacy
• Supervise the proper management of telephony within the pharmacy to ensure
• proper customer service
• Drive the process and supervise the disbursement process for all discount given in the pharmacy
• Supervise the procurement and management of consumables in the pharmacy
• Assist the full-time pharmacist to ensure regular training of pharmacy assistants to refresh their knowledge of basic products
• Assist the full-time pharmacist to ensure improved welfare and team building
• within all staff of the pharmacy
• Assist the full-time pharmacist in the recruitment process to ensure that all vacancies are promptly filled
• Assist the full-time pharmacist to ensure the proper scheduling of the duty rosters to ensure smooth operations of the pharmacy at all time.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / month.
