Job Title: General Administrative Officer (Female)

Locations: Lagos and Sango Otta (Sango) – Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • A Female General Admin Officer responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of an organization, including tasks like answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, maintaining files, handling correspondence, supporting with basic accounting functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office by performing general clerical duties, all while demonstrating excellent organizational skills and communication abilities;essentially acting as the central point of contact for administrative needs within the company.

Responsibilities 
Key responsibilities of a General Admin Officer may include:
Office Management:

  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Managing office supplies and inventory.
  • Maintaining filing systems and records.
  • Receiving and distributing mail and packages.
  • Managing visitor access and reception area.

Administrative Support:

  • Preparing and distributing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Handling expense reports and processing invoices
  • Maintaining employee data and records
  • Coordinating travel arrangements

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing administrative support to different departments
  • Liaising with vendors and service providers

Basic Accounting Tasks:

  • Data entry for financial transactions
  • Maintaining petty cash records

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree / HND in relevant field.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
