Job Title: Distillation Plant Operator
Location: Ota, Ogun

Purpose of Job
- To manage and oversee the distillation process, maintain equipment, and adhere to production schedules to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality ethanol in the factory.
Principal Accountabilities
- Operates and monitors the distillation equipment and control for the efficient and effective production of Ethanol according to quality standards
- Conducts regular sampling and testing of ethanol to ensure quality specifications are met and maintain product consistency.
- Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of the distillation equipment to meet equipment reliability and prevent production disruption.
- Adjust operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to optimize the distillation process and achieve desired product characteristics.
- Maintain accurate logs of production data, equipment performance, and any issues encountered to track and support operational analysis and continuous improvement.
- Converts fermented molasses to RS and then to ENA to produce high-quality spirits that meet the required purity and quality standards for further use in distillery products.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Minimum requirement: Minimum of an OND in a science-related field.
Experience:
- Minimum requirement: Minimum of 0 – 2 years working experience in a distillery plant.
