Job Title: Graduate Intern (Food Science & Technology – Food Processing & Quality Assurance)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a Graduate Intern (Food Science & Technology) with a keen interest in food processing, food quality assurance, and oilseed processing.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with our food processing and quality assurance teams to gain hands-on experience in food safety standards, product development, and quality control measures.
- This internship provides a unique opportunity for recent graduates to develop expertise in agro-processing, value addition, and sustainable food production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of oilseeds (such as soybean, groundnut, and sesame) and other food products.
- Support food quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Conduct laboratory tests and sensory evaluations for product quality assessment.
- Participate in research and development of innovative food processing techniques.
- Monitor and analyze critical control points in food production to maintain product safety.
- Assist in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Engage in data collection, documentation, and report generation for food production analysis.
- Support training sessions at the Farm-Farmer School, educating farmers on food processing best practices.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and biosecurity regulations in food production.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recent graduate with a Degree in Food Science & Technology, Food Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Strong interest in food processing, food quality assurance, and oilseed processing.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and laboratory analysis.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food processing equipment is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a food production environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to reside on the farm premises as required for training and work experience.
