Job Description:
- Canonical is seeking a Graduate Product Marketing Manager responsible for developing global marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for a diverse range of products to support our growth strategy. This role involves close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, content teams, Sales Teams, and other Marketing functions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, technology marketing, and the use of technology in marketing. They thrive in an environment that emphasizes campaign ownership, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Problem-solving, hands-on work, experimentation, measurement, and automation are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop go-to-market plans and execute them for various products, including Cloud, IoT, Applications, Ubuntu, and Security.
- Lead content dissemination planning and campaign development for product launches.
- Create compelling messaging and positioning that highlights business value and resonates with target audiences throughout the buying journey.
- Plan and execute customer base communications and marketing programs for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams, using data and insights to improve traffic to content and optimize marketing funnels.
- Plan events, webinars, and support paid and social media promotion in collaboration with other teams.
- Create and publish content (online and print) aligned with marketing plans.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to define product positioning that sets us apart.
Qualifications:
- Passion for technology and exposure to one of the areas Canonical covers: Cloud, IoT, Ubuntu, Security, Applications.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to provide thoughtful recommendations and action plans for complex issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and methodologies.
- Proficient in delivering presentations and discussions with industry analysts, business, technical, and sales stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on content marketing.
- Proven ability to prioritize and differentiate critical tasks, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
