Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Product Design

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• As a Graduate Trainee – Product Design, you will work closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly designs for the PicckR platform.
• This role provides hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, user research, and design iteration to enhance the overall user experience.
• The ideal candidate is creative, eager to learn, and passionate about solving design challenges that improve usability and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design Support:

• Assist in designing intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX).
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

• Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to improve platform usability.
• Assist in maintaining a consistent visual style and brand identity across the platform.

User Research & Feedback:

• Conduct basic user research and usability testing to gather insights.
• Analyze feedback to iterate and refine designs for better functionality and engagement.

Design Documentation & Assets:

• Help organize and maintain design files, components, and documentation.
• Support in preparing presentations and design guidelines for internal teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field with relevant experience.
• Recent graduate or final-year student in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail.
• Basic understanding of UX principles, typography, and color theory.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
