Job Summary:
- A Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in providing exceptional reception services to guests, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out, and performing audit procedures when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Queries: Address guest inquiries promptly and efficiently to achieve positive outcomes.
- Reception Efficiency: Ensure a seamless reception experience for guests, including check-in and check-out processes, and perform necessary audit procedures.
- Feedback Reporting: Keep the Guest Service Manager informed of relevant guest feedback and any interdepartmental issues.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
- Training: Attend relevant training courses as needed and assist with the Night Team’s training and development efforts.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and other relevant information to fulfill daily duties effectively.
- Occupancy Maximization: Optimize room occupancy and utilize upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
- Payment Handling: Adhere to correct procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in line with the hotel’s credit policy.
- Security and Compliance: Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation. Follow company brand standards.
- Cross-Departmental Assistance: Provide assistance to other hotel departments as needed.
