Description 

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Guidance Counselor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ academic, career, and personal/social needs.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify and address student issues.
• Assist students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and goal-setting strategies.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and peer mediation sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information.
• Stay updated on best practices in school counseling and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (essential).
• Minimum of two years of experience as a counselor in an academic environment.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
