Title: Head of Sales

Location: Lagos

Description 

  • We are looking for an analytical, growth-oriented and seasoned sales professional to scale our sales team and drive revenue growth. This role requires fintech experience in credit sales and e-commerce.
  • This position requires frequent contact with senior management, product management, customer experience, product marketing, risk management, and project management. You need to be able to solve problems, take initiative, and have a growth mentality in order to be successful in this position. You will be a key factor in our revenue growth, so you should have the desire to go above and beyond to produce and develop personally.

Job Description

  • Drive market growth and lead sales & partnerships with full accountability to deliver revenue
  • Build and train our sales team, driving recruitment for high-caliber team members
  • Develop a deep understanding of our client needs- feedback from the market drives our product development and business strategy
  • Develop and own the sales “funnel”, optimizing every step continuously; pipeline management
  • Build effective processes that generate predictable revenue, manage costs and build efficiency
  • responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans.

Requirement

  • 8 years and above of experience in credit sales, fintech and e-commerce
  • Strength in managing a team and developing individual contributors
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to drive sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast growing tech startup
