Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Lagos

Role Description

  • The Head of Sales would lead strategic and operational business initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, revenue growth, profitability and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the business unit
  • Eloquently articulating, collaborating and implement agency strategic business plan
  • Own budgeting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team
  • Client lead and support on portfolio of clients
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Taking on an influential role in supporting new business initiatives and leveraging client relationships in the development of business growth
  • Must be able to travel as needed and open to new places, new faces and new ideas.

Qualifications
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Sales and Marketing with dedicated work experience, which typically includes:

  • Degree (ideally Postgraduate) in Communications, Business and/or Marketing, however this is not essential.
  • Substantial experience in sales, business development, or agency management within the media, communication/PR industry.
  • Proven track record in successfully developing driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the media industry, advertising landscape and PR agency dynamics.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and close deals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilising market insights and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to partners and internal stakeholders.
