Job Title: Hotel Front Office Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • The Front Office Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office in the hotel.
  • The role incumbent ensures the smooth coordination of check-in/check-out procedures, guest relations, and team performance while upholding the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Front Office, including reception, concierge, guest relations, and reservations to ensure seamless and exceptional guest service.
  • Supervise, train, and support Front Office associates, ensuring high levels of professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality at all times.
  • Ensure all guests are welcomed promptly, courteously, and according to service standards, providing personalized service throughout their stay.
  • Monitor room availability, rates, and guest profiles, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with discretion and efficiency, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, operating procedures, and local regulations across all front office activities.
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct regular briefings, and provide coaching to maintain a high-performing, motivated team.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and handovers, ensuring efficient communication across shifts and departments.
  • Uphold the hotel’s safety, security, and hygiene protocols at all times within the front office area.
  • Act as Duty Manager when required, representing management and making operational decisions in the absence of senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 5 years’ experience in charge of hospitality guest services in relevant Hotel Front Office senior leadership responsibilities.
  • Other hospitality certifications are an added advantage
  • High level of experience with top brands in the hospitality Industry
