Job Title: HR Assistant (Male) 

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: HR Manager

Job Summary

  • The HR Assistant provides day-to-day support to the Human Resources department, helping to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow a career in HR, offering exposure to recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires including document collection, induction scheduling, and file creation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both in hard copy and digital formats.
  • Help in tracking employee attendance, leave, and other time-off records.
  • Support the coordination of training sessions, staff meetings, and HR programs.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related reports such as headcount, attrition, and recruitment status.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and handling HR-related inquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee information and company documents.
  • Participate in HR projects and other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of HR or administrative experience (internships and NYSC count).
  • Familiarity with basic HR processes is an advantage.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-conscious.

Salary

  • N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
