Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in talent acquisition and management, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top talent to support our logistics operations.
  • This role requires a proactive HR professional with strong recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations skills.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various logistics roles, including drivers, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment solutions.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical positions.

Talent Management & Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance job satisfaction.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new employees to ensure smooth integration.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback sessions, and training initiatives.
  • Support career development planning and succession planning initiatives.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases using the HRIS system.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with HR policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics related to recruitment and employee management.

Training & Development:

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance employee competencies.
  • Work with department heads to develop workforce development plans aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong experience in talent acquisition and employee management.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in bulk recruitment for logistics roles.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
