Job Title: Human Resource Intern (NYSC)

Job Description
- We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team to support the HR department and gain hands-on experience in human capital management within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment activities including job posting, CV screening, and interview coordination.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Support employee documentation and ensure proper record keeping.
- Assist in updating and maintaining HR databases, records, and employee files.
- Assist in coordinating training and development programs.
- Support performance management and appraisal tracking.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
- Assist in processing employee requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Assist in organizing staff welfare and team-building events.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
- Assist in implementing health and safety policies and reporting incidents.
- Help track employee leave, attendance, and timekeeping.
- Assist in coordinating exit processes and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in progress or recently completed (Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field).
- Interest in HR management and employee relations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
