Job Title: Human Resource Manager (HRM)

Location: Ikenne, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Developing job descriptions
  • Advertising job openings
  • Screening applications and resumes
  • Coordinating interviews and selection processes
  • Issuing offer letters and employment contracts
  • Onboarding new hires

Employee Relations:

  • Serving as a point of contact for employee concerns
  • Handling workplace conflicts and disciplinary actions
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Maintaining positive work culture and employee morale
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Identifying employee training needs
  • Organizing workshops, courses, and professional development
  • Monitoring employee performance and skill growth
  • Supporting career development and succession planning

Performance Management:

  • Setting up performance appraisal systems
  • Coordinating regular performance reviews
  • Creating performance improvement plans (PIPs)
  • Recognizing high performance and addressing underperformance

Compliance and Legal Duties:

  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Keeping accurate employee records
  • Handling disciplinary actions according to due process
  • Managing risk and workplace safety programs

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Contributing to strategic business planning
  • Forecasting staffing needs
  • Managing organizational change
  • Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

HR Administration:

  • Updating and maintaining employee files
  • Drafting HR reports and documentation
  • Managing HR software and systems
  • Preparing official HR letters (queries, warnings, promotions, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: N120,000 – N150,000 / month.
  • Administering payroll
  • Managing employee benefits (health, pensions, leave)
  • Conducting salary reviews and benchmarking
  • Ensuring compliance with compensation laws
