Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Location: Akwa Ibom
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operational demands
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Develop and implement HR policies in line with company objectives
- Handle employee relations, ensuring effective conflict resolution
- Support performance management and training programs
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and handle pre-employment checks. Setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues. Managing employee salary structures, benefits packages, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Creating and maintaining company HR policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate employee records, including personal information, employment history, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. Managing employee wellness initiatives to promote physical and mental health.
Key Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Personnel Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and administrative software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity and adaptability to job demands.
- Proficiency in HR software and Google workspace
- Membership of Professional Bodies is an added Advantage
