Job Title: Independent Sales Representative (ISR)

Location: Otukpo, Benue

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • The Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, supporting sub-distributors, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proactive sales mindset and an understanding of B2B lubricant distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily inbound inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits at the office.
  • Proactively reach out to potential sub-distributors and customers through cold calls and emails.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases usingExcel.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales proposals, and order confirmations.
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-distributors and direct clients.
  • Educate clients on product specifications, usage, and benefits of TotalEnergies lubricants.
  • Meet weekly and monthly sales targets set by the management.
  • Provide timely reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the lubricant or FMCG industry.
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of automotive or industrial lubricants is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM software or sales databases is a plus.
