Job Summary

  • We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Chemical Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.
  • The Industrial Chemical Sales Manager will lead our sales efforts, developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships in the heavy industry sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, operations, technical support) to develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Candidates should have an HND / B.Sc / B.Eng. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 – 15 Proven experience in industrial chemical sales, preferably in heavy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial chemicals and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Industry-specific certifications (e.g., NACE, API).
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and standards.
