Title: Information Technology Service Delivery Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • As an IT Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our technology infrastructure systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will also supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.
  • You will work closely with the VP, Technical Operations to manage the employee IT infrastructure needs, collaborate with the People and Culture department for employee onboarding, drive ERP and process automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring and measuring compliance with the ticketing platform, Active Directory and IT Assets management policies
  • Ensuring IT security awareness and compliance to prevent cyber attacks
  • Ensuring availability of functional modules on the ERP module with quarterly refresher trainings
  • Client Relationship and service delivery management
  • Ensuring IT requests come through the ERP modules
  • Facilitating procurement of high quality IT products through recommendations
  • Monitoring and capturing of Arnergy Website/Solarbase uptime of not less than 98% Monthly
  • Monitoring and capturing of Internet network, 3CX app uptime of not less than 98% Monthly
  • Company-wide computer routine maintenance and user feedback management
  • Ensuring Availability of SIM cards for installation
  • Ensuring adequate data bundle subscription management
  • Capturing of all IT issues and downtime on the issue logs database
  • Implementing a database that logs IT assets (Laptops, Modems, Internet facility, CCTV cameras, access control e.t.c)
  • Procuring of grade A UK pre-owned laptops and deleting of redundant emails from the database not later than 1 month to reduce costs
  • Team leadership
  • Performance Monitoring and reporting
  • Regular sensitization of users against cyber attack.
  • Giving adequate support to users on the usage of the applications with escalation to vendors when necessary
  • Engaging with vendors for timely resolution of issues. Monitoring of office internet network to avoid downtime
  • Do every other thing assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications
You’ll be a good fit for this role if:

  • You have AWS infrastructure competence
  • You currently lead an IT operations or service team in a telco, energy or utility sector. You lead from the front.
  • 6-12 years of IT Service delivery operations experience and minimum of 3 years managing a team
  • You have hands on experience with ERP usage
  • You get things done, you are an execution expert with relevant certifications.
  • You have a background in computer/electrical/mechanical engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. You are an engineer at heart and in practice.
  • You are hard as nails – you don’t take no for an answer, You are also very empathetic to understand people need time to adapt.
  • Internal and external users love you, you are really good with people, you work well with people – you are the life of the party.
  • You are proactive, and on point. You are excellence personified.
  • You are on top of your game, Ideally you are a sector thought leader.
  • You have a sound commercial acumen, with a data drive approach to decision making
  • You would rate yourself a minimum of 7 in any of the following tools (Ms Project/Asana/Basecamp/Jira/Excel)
