Job Summary
- This candidate will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring profitability for FELPET Nigeria Limited.
- Prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities. In order to be successful in this role and meet or exceed quota, this candidate should feel comfortable communicating with prospective clients via phone and email who are discovered through a variety of avenues.
Work Role & Responsibilities
- Successfully create businesses from new and existing customer accounts
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers, cultivating solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic and operating plans to achieve growth.
- Manage orders with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) down to delivery.
- Submit invoices to clients dotted with the accounts department down to receiving payments.
- Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.
- Mandatory Maintenance of accurate records and of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
- Research, target, and open new client opportunities
- Develop targeted messaging to engage prospective companies and executives
- Qualify prospects by understanding customer needs and bu
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports of procurement and marketing (projects/sales) activities are mandatory.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector in a structured business environment.
- Understanding and familiarity with supply chain/procurement procedures. (Sourcing, bidding, purchase order management, expediting, etc.)
- Good understanding of logistics procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Product Knowledge (of PFF products and services would be an advantage)
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Consistent ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.
- Teamwork / collaborative skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
