We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Administer key projects, including treasury, regulatory compliance, business operations, financial reporting and control relationship management, customer service, trade finance, and audits.
- Formulate and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective management of company’s finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes and ensure accuracy and integrity of company’s financial records.
- Coordinate internal control activities in the company by ensuring that planned routine and period audit are carried out as scheduled.
- Review business processes to drive efficiency gains.
- Probe ledger accounts on the sum system to enhance the integrity of the financial reporting.
- Enforce total compliance to all policies, procedures and processes of the company and communicate result to the management.
- Prepare and maintain the company’s risk register to identify and manage potential risks effectively.
- Develop the Enterprise Risk Management policy manual, and conduct risk assessment for the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Banking & Finance
- Proven minimum 12-15years of experience as an Internal Auditor
- Strong knowledge and experience in the Insurance industry.
- Knowledge of all relevant computer programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant Certifications compulsory.
