We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Administer key projects, including treasury, regulatory compliance, business operations, financial reporting and control relationship management, customer service, trade finance, and audits.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective management of company’s finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes and ensure accuracy and integrity of company’s financial records.
  • Coordinate internal control activities in the company by ensuring that planned routine and period audit are carried out as scheduled.
  • Review business processes to drive efficiency gains.
  • Probe ledger accounts on the sum system to enhance the integrity of the financial reporting.
  • Enforce total compliance to all policies, procedures and processes of the company and communicate result to the management.
  • Prepare and maintain the company’s risk register to identify and manage potential risks effectively.
  • Develop the Enterprise Risk Management policy manual, and conduct risk assessment for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Banking & Finance
  • Proven minimum 12-15years of experience as an Internal Auditor
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of all relevant computer programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant Certifications compulsory.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence, effectively manage and lead others.
  • Strategic thinker and has an eye for details.
