Job Title: Inventory Intern

Reports To: Inventory Manager

 Job Summary

  • The Inventory Intern will support the Inventory Department in maintaining accurate stock records, assisting with stock audits, and ensuring smooth inventory operations.
  • This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking hands-on experience in inventory management within a fast-paced retail and pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving, labeling, and organizing incoming stock
  • Update inventory records in the system under supervision
  • Participate in periodic stock counts and reconciliation exercises
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the Inventory Officer or Manager
  • Help track product expiry dates and support the removal of expired or damaged goods
  • Support inter-branch stock transfers and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the inventory storage area
  • Collaborate with procurement, pharmacy, and floor teams to ensure stock accuracy
  • Perform other administrative or inventory-related tasks as assigned.

 Requirements & Qualifications

  • OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field
  • 0-2 years work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems or Microsoft Excel is an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Integrity and a high sense of responsibility.

Salary

  • N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
