Job Title: IT Sales and Business Development Executive

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Sales and Business Development Executive to join our growing team.
- In this key role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the IT sector.
- You will play a crucial role in expanding our market share, building strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify and researching potential clients in the IT sector through various methods (networking, online research, cold outreach, referrals).
- Understanding Client Needs: Actively listen to and analyzing clients’ business challenges and IT requirements. Identifying opportunities where the company’s IT products, services, or solutions can provide value.
- Product/Solution Presentation and Demonstration: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to individual client needs.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation: Create and present detailed proposals and quotations.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, track progress, and forecast sales. Use CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Closing Sales: Effectively close deals and achieving or exceeding sales targets. Manage the contract signing process.
- Account Management and Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Understanding clients’ evolving needs and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Identifying potential new markets and understanding the competitive landscape.
- Partnership Development: Identifying and establishing strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations with other organizations.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the IT industry (potential clients, partners, influencers). Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and build relationships.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with product development and technical teams to align sales and business development efforts. Providing customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in IT sales and business development.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
