Title: IT Support Officer

Location: Ikoyi/Lekki – Lagos

Position Overview

• As an IT Support Officer at our company, you will be the front line of our IT support services, ensuring that our clients’ technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
• You will work closely with the IT Departmentto provide technical assistance, troubleshoot problems, and deliver solutions, all while representing our company with professionalism and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network equipment.
• Assist staff with password resets, account setup, and basic IT training.
• Log and track technical issues using a helpdesk ticketing system.
• Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field is a plus.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
• 4 – 6 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in IT support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
