Job Title: Junior Secretary
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of board and committee meetings by preparing agendas, compiling relevant materials, and recording accurate meeting minutes
- Assist in preparing and organizing legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Handle basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and data entry.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Manage and update filing systems, both physical and electronic.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Law or a related field.
- Must have 5-7 years’ experience with a focus on mortgage banking or related financial services.
- Professional certification from a recognized body (e.g. CICSRN or NIPS).
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transcription software.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be Assertive and Flexible.
