Job Description

  • Provide overall leadership, control and decision-making and take responsibility for the IT Infrastructure (DC, CCT, NWSM, Tools, etc.) & Operations team, in line with business expectations covering all business and enterprise systems and solutions to ensure 24×7 timely service delivery, availability, and supportability to Airtel Nigeria customers and internal business functions to ensure the achievement of the set business goals.

Responsibilities
Manage and Control Infrastructure delivery:

  • To put in place the required functions to ensure a quality service from Infrastructure

  • Develop operational plans with S1 partners that aligns with and delivers on the overall business objective

Measure and Report Performance:

2). Lead, Reporting & Regulatory Compliance

Job Description
This purpose of this role will be to:

  • Manage capacity and manage Services contract Delivery Quality Assurance, ensuring effective and efficient deployment and operations of network resources for attainment of optimal Network service Quality.
  • Enforce contract adherence by partners, managing vendors to deliver on agreed capacity and Quality standards.
  • Responsible for MC Capacity deployment and MS Quality KPI validations, reconciliations and signoffs.
  • Ensure that all Regulatory reports are delivered within timeline and with the attendant accuracy.

Responsibilities
Managed Services Delivery Assurance – 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Core/IN/VAS:

  • Monthly MS Validation and Signoff
  • Ensure accurate validation of monthly MS sign-off
  • Routinely validate reported KPIs used for sign-off
  • Ensure deployed sites meet required minimum contractually agreed KPI to prevent degradation of network quality

MS Service Assurance Claim:

  • Interface with different Network domains to ensure tracking of Service Assurance impacting outages
  • Manage agreement with vendors on service assurance impacting outages and get their sign-off

Exclusion Sign-Off:

  • Validate and confirm exclusion claims by MC/MS partners
  • Effectively manage Partners to ensure no contractual dispute arises in MC/MS signoffs
  • Ensure faults sign-off agreement between Operations and Vendors
  • Track wrong and missing data in computation of exclusion values
  • Ensure exclusion is only granted following systematic audit and review of data provided by vendors

Regulatory Compliance (Network):

  • Ensure that network impact analysis of all promo/new products is done to confirm no quality degradation in line with regulatory.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that Partners provide monthly Regulatory Compliance Certificate

Management Reporting:

  • Detailed and accurate deployment reports to aid Airtel determine OPEX commitment to MS partner
  • Provide independent adhoc reports to management and regulatory bodies as required
