2). Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible to driving the tactical plans and implementation of strategies for ensuring business continuity through compliance to extant relevant regulations affecting company operations across all plants and localities including toll filling contracts;
  • Monitoring of changes in the local regulations that could impact the company’s licensed products and current operational processes related to product manufacturing and sales; and conducting periodic risk assessments of the compliance of company to local legal requirements applicable to all company products and maintenance of a positive relationship with all external stakeholder in the regulatory space affecting the company operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit regulatory documentations for all product portfolios including Wines and spirits, snacks and all toll filling operations.
  • Manage company product registration on NAFDAC ‘NAPAMS ‘’portal and Standard Organisation MANCAP status on EDER portal with weekly update on status of all products licenses
  • Develop and implement strategies for regulatory compliance to Local, company and international standards as required.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for NBC with Toll filing partners on all regulatory issues involving NAFDAC and standards Organisation of Nigeria.
  • Manage all product trials for new product registration and license renewals.
  • Continuously monitoring changes in local legal requirements affecting all company products and tolling filling agreement, conducting a risk assessment and reporting same to the SRA manager on timely basis.
  • Ensure all company products presented for registration and renewals have been vetted and comply with all relevant local regulations for labelling, marketing and advertisements.
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders on implementation of relevant regulatory requirements related to marketing, new product designs, quality and food safety processes, good manufacturing practices (GMP); manufacturing processes, storage and handling of nonconforming products.
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with key external stakeholders in the regulatory space, ensure there is no disruption in company business operations by monitoring stakeholders through proactive engagements.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Food science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology and applied life sciences.
  • M.Sc. in any of the applied life sciences is an added advantage.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Carbonated Soft Drinks and associated beverage products (Manufacturing, Handling and Storage requirements)
  • Excellent and fundamental understanding of Bottling and packaging process / production process
  • Knowledge of local food regulations (NAFDAC, SON, FCCPC)
  • FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) expertise
  • Understanding of TCCC and CCH Validation Protocols and Guidelines is an advantage.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding KORE Requirements for all QSE facets is an advantage.
  • Local (NAFDAC, SON) and International (KORE, Codex Alimentarius) Regulation on Foods and Beverage
  • Process Designs and Food safety Requirements
  • FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, QMS ISO 9001 and EMS Auditing and implementation expertise

3). Senior Legal Counsel – Operations & Dispute Resolution

Job Summary

  • You will be responsible for managing the Company’s dispute resolution portfolio across all jurisdictions.
  • In conjunction with external counsel, you will provide legal evaluation of impending dispute resolution matters and proposed strategies for conducting the Company’s case or defence.
  • In addition, you will ensure attendance at court sittings, furnish the Company with regular and detailed updates on the progress of cases; and manage the Company’s relation with external counsel across all jurisdictions.

5). Automation Specialist

Description

  • The Automation Specialist will carry out maintenance of all electrical/automation equipment (bottling and utilities) and their controls while ensuring high equipment reliability, high product quality, zero safety incidents and consistent delivery of budgeted volume targets.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Get involved in project implementations in the plant to ensure adherence to standard automation requirements for new and existing projects. Ensure the availability and regular update of all user program backup for all automation equipment in the plant.
