1). Field Auditor

Location: Aba, Abia

Job Summary

  • We are s looking for an objective and Field Auditor in Aba, Abia who is open to work anywhere in the Nigeria to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures
  • Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions
  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
  • Keep a check on processes and regulations
  • Ensuring staff compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Travel to different state for auditory reviews and assessment.
  • Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.
  • Providing solution to company’s internal problems.

Requirements and Skills

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related field.
  • Proven working experience as an Auditor in a Microfinance or Lending company
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A strong aptitude for maths.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A keen interest in the financial system.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills.

Summary

  • We are looking for a Credit Officer to facilitate lending for our clients by assessing creditworthiness and processing relevant paperwork
  • Credit Officer responsibilities include preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information and calculating risk ratios.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.
  • Ultimately, you will help our clients acquire loans in a timely manner, while ensuring all requitements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Review loan requests
  • Assess clients’ financial status
  • Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
  • Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
  • Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests
  • Set up payment plans
  • Maintain updated records of loan applications

  • Daily & weekly repayment collection.

Requirements and Skills

  • NCE / OND / HND / BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics or related field with 0 – 5 years work experience.

  • Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
  • Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service experience.
