1). Team Lead, Payday Lending

Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of digital lending product and platform managers.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

Product Strategy and Development:

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with the Bank’s goals.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Prioritize product features and development efforts based on business impact, customer needs and market trends.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Data Management, M&CC, IT, Legal, Sales Force, customer experience etc.
  • Manages product plans, progress, and results with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage the process of gathering and analyzing feedback from customers, partners, and stakeholders to inform product decisions.

  • Grow business product portfolio through partnerships across verticals
  • Actively guide the efforts of the sales force
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services within the boundaries of approved budget
  • Ensure effective training and knowledge management across the branch touchpoints on workplace banking products
  • Undertake proposition & product pitch and organize periodic employee engagement sessions in approved Workplace Banking schemes/employers
  • Responsible and accountable for risk management of his/her business & portfolio.
  • Work with the SBUs to identify new markets that present opportunities for Business.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum Education:  First Degree.
  • Post graduate qualification in Business Administration and related certifications in Digital Product Management, Business & Data Analytics would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum experience – 5 years of general banking experience.

2). Credit Policy & Portfolio Manager

Job Description

  • Carry out and validate periodic review on methodologies (Impairment, ICAAP and CAR) as
  • required.
  • Preparation of monthly Capital Adequacy Requirement report (CAR)
  • Provide oversight function on monthly impairment calculation
  • Prepare monthly IFRS impairment upload on Finacle to various Business Units P&L and
  • movement in provision to BPM
  • Provide validation and oversight review of monthly IFRS credit journals
  • Preparation of quarterly ICAAP report to CBN (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process)
  • Preparation of credit disclosures for Year End and Periodic Audit
  • Active participation in the management and execution of various portfolio projects
  • Participate in the various credit audit of the bank’s loan book by CBN and external auditors
  • Conduct Stress testing and scenario analysis for stakeholder unit/department/regulator as required
  • Conduct analysis of ratings in the Bank’s portfolio (Weighted Average Risk Rating)
  • Implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure compliance with Basle
  • and IFRS requirements and co-ordinates the process for the review of the document

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education: First degree in business related or Science/Engineering courses.
  • Minimum Experience: 7 to 10 years of leadership experience in credit portfolio or risk measurement
  • Relevant certifications in portfolio management or risk would be an added advantage.

3). Legal Officer (Company Secretariat)

Responsibilities 

  • Prompt execution and sealing of agreements and documents.
  • Confirmation of Bonds and Guarantees.
  •  Conducting legal research.
  •  Attending to the welfare of Directors as directed by the Company Secretary.
  • Attending to sundry requests to the Company Secretary Department from other Departments/SBUs in the Bank.
  • Liaising with the Centralized Administration Unit of General Services Department and the Foreign Banking Services Department for the processing of payments to Directors and for other departmental needs.
  • Preparation of extracts from the Sealing Register for consideration and ratification at First Bank Limited Board meetings.

  •  Performing any other duty as may be assigned by the Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary.
  • As part of the Bank’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.

Requirements
Education:

  •  Minimum Education: First degree in Law and Professional Certificate of Barrister at Law (compulsory).

Experience:

  • Minimum experience: At least two years post call, legal practice in chambers.
