1). Human Resource Generalist
Location: Lagos
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices, and will oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department. Will also assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- An MBA will be an added advantage
Relevant certification (CIPM, HRCI, CIPD, SHRM) will be an added advantage - Minimum of 3 years of human resource management experience, technology industry preferred.
- Knowledge of staffing and general HR policies and compliance.
Skilled with HR software, such as MS Office, database systems, HRIS, and ATS - Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Understanding of job boards, updating job descriptions, contact details, and other employee information

2). Product Designer
Location: Lagos
Responsible for championing human-centered design principles, standards and systems for design, development, and strategic execution. This role will partner with Engineering and all technical units to design and deliver strong design solutions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and desirable customer experiences that are impactful for our business
- Drive innovation and elevate the product experience by designing flows and interfaces that are incredibly simple, effective, and elegant
- Contribute to high-level strategic direction with the rest of the product team
- Work closely with designers, product managers, engineering, marketing and leadership in a highly collaborative environment
- Inspire the team and cross-functional partners by bringing new ideas to the table
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Specify design requirements on collecting research data from external sources
- Research and identify improvement opportunities for new products
- Generate analysis reports on how a new product will satisfy market requirements and consumer needs
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Assists with analyzing research findings and provide insights into design needs based on target user goals, preferences, and needs
- Recommend and defend UX & UI requirements based on research output, best-practices, project team feedback
- Ability to translate objectives and requirements into visual representation to meet design needs.
- Design user-centered interfaces that solve customer problems and support user needs amidst technical constraints
- Create & deliver UX or UI form factors using the fidelity necessary to meet the objective. This may include diagrams, journeys, process flows, site architecture, interaction models, wireframes, high fidelity design, prototypes, design system and visual assets.
- Ability to provide insight and context to design decisions and recommendations.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Design, Social Sciences or a relevant field with demonstrated use of these skills to software
- Relevant certifications desirable
- Work experience Minimum 2 years product and/ or cognate experience in the technology industry in same or a similar role. Has direct experience using primary design and prototyping tools.
- Has a relevant work portfolio that shows a strong product design process
