1). Electrical Engineer
Location: Lagos
Summary of Responsibilities
- To effectively and efficiently carry out troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of Caterpillar generators and associated electrical systems.
- This includes, but is not limited to, AVRs, synchronization modules, genset controllers, ATS panels and switchgears, and all related wiring and control devices.
- This role is strictly focused on equipment fault rectification and system recovery. It does not involve generator operation, monitoring but to ensure smooth operation.
- The engineer is expected to work with other relevant departments to ensure quick and accurate resolution of issues, reducing downtime and ensuring
Main Functions
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions in Caterpillar engine-driven generators (Gas & Diesel) and their control systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in AVRs, synchronization modules, genset controllers, ATS units, relays, and associated control wiring.
- Conduct inspection, load testing, and recommissioning after electrical repairs.
- Perform control panel modifications, wiring rectifications, and calibration of control logic to meet operational standards.
- Respond to breakdowns with proper technical assessment and ensure timely restoration of power systems.
- Coordinate with service teams and site supervisors to ensure fault reporting and repair priorities are aligned with operational needs.
- Ensure the use of correct spare parts and maintain stock feedback for critical items.
- Maintain detailed repair records, including fault diagnosis, rectification steps, replaced parts, and recommendations.
- Interface with internal departments and customer site teams only on matters directly related to fault identification and repair.
- Ensure safe use and handling of company tools, test instruments, and vehicles assigned for field work.
- Report major technical issues to supervisors for escalation and support in accurate technical reporting.
- Prepare necessary documentation such as repair reports, delivery slips, and SIMS entries to support internal processes and customer communication.
Requirements
- HND/ First Degree in Electrical Engineering field with 2 years of field experience.
- Good working knowledge of Caterpillar Electrics & right attitude on the job with sound and safe driving skills with valid professional driving license are a prerequisite.

2). Internal Sales Representative (Perkins Multibrand)
Location: Lagos
Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and rebuild relationship (Customer Relationship Management – CRM) with designated and targeted customers by phone to sell parts and service offerings and create sales opportunities to meet company objectives and customer satisfaction.
Main Functions
- Contact customers to present services and answer all technical and commercial inquiries
- Inform customers by phone about new product offers
- Participate in quotations preparation, terms of payment for his/her supervisor or manager’s review and approval
- Become proficient in understanding the various machine parts offered
- Present relevant technical publications as appropriate to customers and explain the benefits / advantages of the products.
- Provide weekly pre-call plan and report daily activities and refers any difficulties/challenges to supervisor for action
- Follow up on opportunities and quotes to maximize sales and results
- Work with all internal parties concerned to identify and produce customer focused solutions
- Assist with the solution and resolution of customer complaints raised
- Report all lost sales of parts and services to the supervisor / manager and to ensure such lost sales are appropriately entered into the dealer system (Salesforce)
- Ensure there is no overdue debt on customers’ parts and service account.
- Keep good control of customer lists and keep updating customer profiles and population in Salesforce or any existing dealer marketing information system
- Report any prime product sales leads to his / her supervisor, manager or the particular prime product manager

3). Product Support Sales Representative
Location: Lagos
Job Outline
- Responsible for the implementation of product support programs and policies.
- Also, to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Visiting customers in the Region (old and new), prospecting for parts, unit sales and service opportunities and as well seek for regular patronage.
- Sell and implement product support programs such as CTS, REMAN, SOS, etc. on a regular basis.
- Prepare relevant quotations and/or tenders (accurate and complete to requirement), present to customers, arrange follow-up activities as desired, and ensure conversion to effective sales.
- Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services (including backordered items) and corresponding invoices to engender customer satisfaction and early payment as they fall due.
- Preparation and implementation of a weekly call plan and corresponding summary report.
- Preparation and updating the customers’ profile list.
- Keep abreast of product/service information from Caterpillar and related suppliers and ensure adequate dissemination to concerned employees and customers.
- Promptly and effectively resolve customer complaints such as to retain their goodwill and confidence in the product, services and the dealership at large.
- Implement relevant marketing and promotional programs as they arise.
- Arrange and implement relevant training programs for Parts office staff and customer representatives.
