1). Advisor – Commercial Legal Corporate Transaction
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Mission:
- To provide the company advisory service regarding the drafting, legality, structuring, fiscal efficiency and compliance of contractual arrangements.
Description:
- Review legal internal matters requiring legal input /perspective, consult with all relevant parties, advise on legal related matter, provide recommendation on course of action and effectively take appropriate and approved action in accordance with the rules and regulations of MTNN.
- Draft legal agreements and review all relevant documentation supporting contracts for authenticity and validity, reviewing commercial agreements and documentations of transactions.
- Develop proactive strategies for preventing disputes by ensuring contracts are well-drafted, aligned with compliance standards, and operationally efficient.
- Provide insights and recommendations on commercial transactions and contractual obligations to internal stakeholders.
- Administer controls and policies to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and effectively integrate ethics, compliance and preventive law efforts, ensuring MTNN activities are compliant with laid down laws and governing regulations/statutes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
- Update automated systems for data/legal process maturity for all areas of commercial legal practice (Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Contracts, litigation).
- Conduct Due Diligence on companies
- Drafting letters to third parties on behalf of the company
- Manage the Company’s property portfolio
- Negotiate and draft transaction agreements (i.e. M&As, JVs, to support the business on company or group projects.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance contract execution and foster trust.
- Liaise with relevant teams to ensure contracts address risk mitigation and business goals effectively.
- Conduct internal stakeholders, quarterly roadshows on legal process for all MTNN Divisions.
- Conduct internal and external stakeholder surveys and track stakeholders’ satisfaction
Education:
- First Degree in Law
- Fluent in English.
Experience:
3-7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others Experience working in a medium organization ·
- Civil/commercial litigation experience.
- At least 2 (two) straight years of law practice in a reputable law firm.
- Knowledge of telecommunications will be an advantage.
- Commercial/technical and/or further legal qualifications will be an advantage.
- Experience in negotiating, drafting and management of contracts and transactions.
- In depth experience and understanding of the Nigerian legal framework.
- Experience in property portfolio management.

2). Advisor – OD and Performance East & South Region
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Mission:
- Ensure HR strategy is implemented in line with regional/divisional business plans and that HR policy, procedures and processes are understood and consistently implemented.
Description:
- Facilitate the compliance with employee Performance Management cycle.
- Provide implementation support for Attraction and Recruitment activities
- Facilitate confirmation process for new staff on probation.
- Facilitate Career Management implementation within the assigned Division.
- Assist in driving Group Culture Audit and other Surveys participation within assigned Divisions.
- Assist in implementing Departmental/Divisional Recognition programmes as well as driving participation in the Group Recognition programme
- Coordinate assigned Exit Activities for exiting staff.
- Liaise with Line Managers of assigned Division and OD to develop and implement organizational structure and design as and when required e.g. Job Profiles, etc.
- Liaise with Industrial Relations Advisor to coordinate Regional Employee Council Meeting – identify pertinent employee and workplace issues and report outcomes.
- Coordinate Staff Engagement Meetings for assigned Divisions, e.g. Village Meetings, TGIF
Education:
- First degree in related discipline
- Fluent in English
- A professional qualification of CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI is desirable.
Experience:
- 3-7 years’ experience which includes
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others
- Experience working in a medium organization.
