1). Medical Officer

Location: Lagos

As a Medical Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and providing general care to patients on hospital wards and outpatient clinics.
  • Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.
  • Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions, carrying out specific procedures e.g. performing surgeries and specialist investigations.
  • Making notes, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals.
  • Working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties.
  • Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment.
  • Promoting health education.
  • Undertaking managerial responsibilities such as planning the workload and staffing of the department, especially at more senior levels.

What are we looking for?

  • A Medical Degree (MBBS or MD)
  • Membership with the required regulatory body (Nigerian Medical Association).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience post Qualification.
  • Up to date Medical Practicing License.
  • Empathy and good relationship skills.
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of basic computer skills, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office tools etc.
  • Good knowledge of hospital management software will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with the latest clinical standard concepts, medical solutions, practices and procedures.

2). Senior Bids & Proposals Engineer

Location: Lagos

As a Senior Bids & Proposals Engineer, you will:

  • Fully review and understand the client’s Prequalification, Invitation to Tenders/Request for Quotation documents
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to assist in collating accurate data for the preparation of proposals
  • Accurately interpret client’s technical specification and produce a compliant technical proposal; offering more suitable alternatives where appropriate
  • Accurately interpret client’s commercial requirements and ensure any commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated
  • Facilitate inputs from Technical and Commercial personnel as well as partner organizations, Vendors and/or subcontractors as appropriate
  • Update the Proposal Coordinator and/or Proposal Manage on a regular basis about the bid progress and areas of difficulties
  • Prepare commercial offer including price breakdown as per clients’ requirement
  • Develop Proposal Work Packs and disseminate them to various resources persons for their inputs.
  • Prepare post tender clarification responses
  • Manage sub proposals and less complex proposals that EWT is the prime
  • Evaluate the Nigerian Content Development Act requirement for technical tender
  • Identify and track potential procurements that are consistent with the Company’s core competencies and strategic priorities
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures and that safe work methods are applied

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of HND/B.Eng in relevant engineering or related engineering qualification
  • Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Steel Construction or Oil & Gas Industry
  • Fundamental understanding of commercial contract management – NEC or FIDIC
  • Ability to read and interpret all Engineering/Technical drawings
  • Ability to evaluate data, compile and count and record data from Drawings, Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials
  • Knowledge of material technology and ability to distinguish materials based on their metallurgical properties
  • Application of codes/specification requirements. Have good knowledge of code of practice and relevant standards
  • Ability to take inventory, examine, record facts and problem solving
  • Ability to carry out researches, investigating and classifying data
  • Knowledge and competence in the design of all company’s products and services, all production activities carried out by EWT
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite packages
  • Open minded to learn and integrate with multidiscipline team
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Strong leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision

3). Bids & Proposals Manager

Location: Lagos

As a Bids & Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Fully reviewing and understanding the client’s Prequalification, Invitation to Tenders/Request for Quotation documents.
  • Creating Bid tender Strategy to differentiate EWT bid from competition.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to assist in collating accurate data for the preparation of proposals.
  • Accurately interpreting client’s technical specification and producing a compliant technical proposal; offering more suitable alternatives where appropriate.
  • Developing Responsibility Matrix for all the departments and disciplines whose inputs are required for the Prequalification, Invitation to Tenders/Request for Quotation with the Group or Strategic Business Units.
  • Accurately interpreting client’s commercial requirements and ensuring any commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated.
  • Facilitating inputs from Technical and Commercial personnel as well as partner organizations, vendors and/or subcontractors as appropriate.
  • Updating the MD/CEO on a regular basis about the bid progress and areas of difficulties.
  • Preparing/reviewing commercial offer including price breakdown as per clients’ requirement.
  • Preparing post tender clarification responses.
  • Managing sub proposals and less complex proposals that EWT is the prime.
  • Evaluation of Nigerian Content Development Act requirement for technical tender.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of HND/B.Eng in relevant engineering or related engineering qualification.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in proposals, including at last 7 years at proposal management level in the upstream oil and gas industry (both onshore and offshore).
  • Previous direct experience as part of a project team in a proposals engineering and/or project engineering role is a prerequisite.
  • Previous experience of pressure vessels and ASME code is preferred but not essential.
  • Analyzing the Bid/Tender documentation to creating a bid tender strategy.
  • Functional practice/experience of NEC of FIDIC contract management.
  • Proven ability to deliver a high-quality proposal with due regard to safety and the environment in all designs/concepts, on time and within budget.
  • Sound understanding of Project Management principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency, accuracy and quality is essential.
  • Solid working knowledge of relevant Oil and Gas industry engineering codes and standards.
  • Knowledge and compliance of EWT Quality Management System.
  • Sound understanding of HSSE Management systems. Apt reporting and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex information into well-structured and easily understood reports and management presentations.
  • Application of codes/specification requirements. Have good knowledge of code of practice and relevant standards.
  • Knowledge and competence in the design of all company’s products and services and all production activities carried out by EWT.
  • Good communication and team building skills – well able to lead and gain the respect of team members, clients and 3rd parties (internal and external)
  • Ability to improvise/prioritize with little notice without losing attention to detail
  • Ability to manage interfaces both internally, and externally with contractors and authorities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite packages including MS Project or Primavera P6

4). CADD Engineer

Location: Lagos

As a CADD Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting tender department to review tender documents, clarify undefined scopes, identify and provide the required engineering deliverables required to submit a competitive bid within the defined timelines
  • Generating detailed fabrication drawings complete with materials list table, weld symbols and other relevant information as may be required
  • Generating Material Take Off (MTO) from approved engineering drawings for approval
  • Capturing engineering changes and effectively communicate to the project leads and functional engineering leads with the right tools in line with project defined templates
  • Supporting construction and project team with fabrication installation sequence, project specific site layout arrangements drawing, weld map drawing etc.
  • Providing support for generation of as-built engineering documentations
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Engineering Leads.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related engineering qualification
  • Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Marine/Oil & Gas Industry
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite packages
  • Proficiency in the use of design tools such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Steel Structures etc. for fabrication detailing
  • Basic knowledge of International design codes e.g. ASME Section VIII, API 650, B31.3, Eurode etc.  for design of Storage Tanks, Pressure vessels, Piping, Pipe support etc.
  • Ability to make technical judgment to resolve project technical issues with economic benefit to company revenue
  • Display of high accuracy of output and pay attention to details
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
