Job Summary
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the civil construction business unit of the group.
- This will involve planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
As a Civil Construction Business Lead, You Will Be Responsible For
- Project management: Lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Business Management: Lead business opportunity drive and ensure closure. Ensure smooth running and management of the entire business.
- Design and planning: Develop and implement designs for infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water treatment systems.
- Team leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project safety and minimizing delays.
- Technical expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on complex engineering projects.

What Are We Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Masters in Structural Engineering will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification relevant working experience of which at least 5 years must have been in leadership role/level.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies (COREN, NSE etc.)
- Candidates should have worked in reputable Construction Companies and/or Project based Organizations.
- Project Management Certification.
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.

2). Document Controller

- In this role, you will be responsible for appropriate documentation, management and control of the Company’s vital documents
Responsibilities
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out document management and processing in line with the Company’s Electronic Information Management System.
- Developing, recording, transmitting and maintaining all Document/Data in appropriate registers using acceptable format.
- Updating document distribution log regularly as well as document control records.
- Arranging for controlled access and temporary removal of hard documents when required.
- Tracking procedure status in MS access.
- Monitoring the flow of Project Management, Engineering and Procurement documents through the system, as applicable and advise relevant Project personnel accordingly.
- Liaising with all project personnel to ensure proper control of Project management, Engineering, and Procurement documents
- Assigning numbers to project documents for easy identification, indexing & filling.
- Compiling all handover/project completion documents in format acceptable to the client
- Ensuring strict adherence to QHSE policies and procedures and complying with safe work methods as required.
- Performing any other duty that may be assigned by Supervisor/line Manager
Requirements
