1). Branch Manager
Location: Kaduna
Job Description
- Olam Agri’s supply chain is crucial to its operations, and this Branch Manager role in Kaduna, Nigeria, is vital to its success. You will manage multiple product lines (commodity & processed commodity by-products) within the region, overseeing all processes from producer to market.
Key Deliverables
- Strategic Effectiveness: Contribute to business roadmap development and implementation, managing procurement and supply chain strategy for assigned products. Apply sound judgment within established policies, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques. Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including understanding counterparty and credit risk management.
- Operational Effectiveness: Optimize resource utilization within the plant & specifically RM warehouses. Support infrastructure implementation according to the business plan, maximizing capacity and minimizing controllable losses. Coordinate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permissions and approvals.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Build and develop high-performing teams through effective hiring, training, and development. Provide market analysis to support business trading and positional decisions.

2). Procurement Manager

Job Description
- Leads evaluation and selection of suppliers in terms of quality, service, cost, and capability.
- Procurement of General, consumable Items (MRO Items), AGO, Raw material and capex
- Make purchase orders, job orders as the case may be and follow up with vendors for timely delivery of the goods and services.
- Looks for productivity gains, which may include working with Improvement Leaders and Service Center personnel.
- Looks for alternative sources, through individual research, and working with other Buyers, Sr. Buyers, and Executive Buyers.
- Oversees contract implementation and supplier performance/interaction; involved with resolving operational issues.
- Documents issues for quality, service, safety, and supply (into the Sourcing quality data bases) and resolves issues with suppliers.
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement.

Job Description
- Ensuring compliance to manufacturing processes and procedures of the company with the objective of achieving key performance indicators in collaboration with all stakeholders by constantly developing, planning, and implementing operational excellence and training of plant personnel.
Key Deliverables
Production Planning & Execution
- Planning to deliver the sales demand ensuring effective utilization of assets at optimum cost of operations
- Liaison with central and local procurement for effective planning of raw and packing materials ensuring availability as well as monitoring inventory norms
- Analyze breakdowns and put corrective measures to improve OEE
- Lead the AM Pillar team in WCM/Operational Excellence and support other pillars on production related requirements

Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering from a reputed institute
- 10+ years of experience in FMCG companies of repute preferably bottling/aseptic dairy products with a minimum of 3 years of experience as Head of Manufacturing/Production department
- Experience of managing high speed PET bottling lines and Tetrapak lines
- A hands-on experience of implementing TPM or WCM/Operational Excellence is a must. Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma would be an added advantage.
- Experience of managing production function of a bottling plant, preferably aseptic dairy technology with Tetrapak and Sidel bottling lines

5). Engineer for Planning and Inventory control

Job Description
- Perform Plant inspection, Maintenance planning and task scheduling.
- Maintenance planning for old and new installation, update task list to maximize availability
- Systematic plant restoration using TPM methodology.
- Work order closure and reporting
- review daily/weekly works schedules with sectional engineer and reduce backlogs.
- Manage spare inventory to support maintenance execution.
- Track spares from request to delivery.
- Ensure all spares GRN is done and vendor payment completed.
