1). Procurement Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Procurement Officer specializing in Direct Procurement will be responsible for Sourcing, negotiating and procuring materials, components and services essential to our direct business operations.
- The staff will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, suppliers and other relevant parties to optimize the procurement process and contribute to the overall success of our organization’s goals and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sourcing and Vendor Management:
- Ensure Effective vendor management relationships with key suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate potential Suppliers for Direct Procurement needs.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure advantageous agreements.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all company Vendors under the category.
Procurement Planning:
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their direct procurement needs.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goal.
- Ensure all Purchases are in line with the internal department’s budgets.
- Oversee negotiations to ensure the best prices for direct materials items.
- Track key metrics for effective analysis and reporting.
Cost Optimization:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement strategies to achieve cost reduction without compromising quality and satisfaction.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks related to direct procurement activities.
- Development of a contingency plan to address potential disruptions in the procurement process.
Contract management:
- Ensure vendor compliance with appropriate SLA and contract documents for Local Packaging and Direct materials
- Monitor and evaluate supplier’s performance against contract terms.
- Ensure that contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement:
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the direct Procurement process for effectiveness and efficiency.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
- 2 – 3 years previous experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent coordination skills, proactivity, creativity and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent data analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good budget management skills.
- Proficiency in Procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.

2). Quality Assurance Officer (Abeokuta)
Location: Ogun
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and compliance to all product and process specifications, as well as food and environmental safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to quality policy, procedures, work instructions, and documented quality systems. In addition, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out inspection upon arrival of raw materials, packaging materials and inputs against specifications and submit reports after inspection.
- Ensure all quality procedures for fruit washing and storage are observed.
- Check the peeling and cutting quality, and complete the quality control sheet at Processing.
- Check the packing quality and complete the quality control sheet at Packing.
- Conduct quality control on pallets in accordance to the finished goods control procedure.
- Ensure daily calibration and verification of all measuring equipment in the laboratory and in the factory.
- Monitor and control all storage areas and conditions.
- Continuous training and coaching of factory employees on Food safety and quality issues.
- Fulfillment of housekeeping and environmental standards.
- Report any non-compliance detected in relation to both the Quality and Food safety management system to the Quality manager.
- Report immediately any non-conformity on product quality detected to the QA manager.
- Report immediately any breakage, damage or malfunction of equipment to the QA manager.
- Ensure samples for analyses are properly taken for each batch.
- Manage and maintain all tools and equipment for carrying out quality control checks: in the laboratory and in the factory.
- Ensure proper and prompt filing of records: maintain organized and accessible records for analysis and reference.
- Ensure correct traceability of products and records.
- Supporting process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the factory.
Supervisory duties:
- Appraise the performance of immediate team members, identify their training needs and organize or recommend appropriate training for them.
- Administer disciplinary measures of immediate team members in accordance with the company’s disciplinary procedures
- Interpret policies and procedures to immediate team members and where necessary, consult superior or appropriate departments.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor\’s Degree / HND or higher in Food Science, Agribusiness or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of professional or sector/industry experience.
- Flexibility based on factory production schedule.
- Knowledge of the use of measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Knowledge of the HACCP system
- Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Integrity and accountability
- Fluency in English – excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

3). Production Supervisor (Abeokuta)
Location: Ogun
- The Production Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day running of production processes and ensure operational efficiency by managing resources, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The role involves resource planning, process management, effective communication, supervision of factory hands, and adherence to production targets and deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities
Resource Planning:
- Effectively manage resources required for production to meet targets and timelines.
- Ensure adequate numbers of factory hands are available and confirmed for production.
- Accurately prepare production schedules or plans reflecting resource availability and capacity.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for production equipment and machinery.
- Develop and manage production checklists to cover all key resources and SOPs.
Process Management:
- Ensure production starts on time unless unavoidable delays arise.
- Supervise production processes, allocating resources as needed to meet targets.
- Provide accurate production data to management to develop performance targets.
- Propose continuous improvement strategies for production processes.
Effective Communication:
- Report on work plans, resourcing, challenges, maintenance, and downtimes to the Production Manager.
- Ensure smooth handovers of assignments or supervisory duties when necessary.
Time Management and Attendance:
- Complete tasks within provided timelines and communicate delays at least 24 hours in advance.
- Ensure punctuality and commitment to scheduled production activities.
Housekeeping, Hygiene, and Safety Standards:
- Oversee effective cleaning and orderliness in all production areas, maintaining proper segregations.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at workstations.
Records and Documentation:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of records, maintaining organized and accessible documentation for analysis and reference.
Supervisory Duties:
- Appraise performance of team members, identify training needs, and organize or recommend suitable training.
- Administer disciplinary actions in line with company procedures.
- Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures, consulting superiors or relevant departments where necessary.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Food Science, Agribusiness, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of professional or industry experience in production supervision.
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP systems.
- Experience with production equipment and capacity planning.
- Excellent planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Integrity, accountability, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work based on the factory\’s production schedule.
