1). Senior Electrical Tie-in and Support Engineer

Location: Rivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic functions as in Electrical Engineer’s role
  • Identify electrical systems equipment, power requirements, and determine optimum supply sources
  • Define system design and operation philosophy, network configuration and distribution systems
  • Conduct detailed reviews, design, selection, sizing and specification of HV/LV electrical power and distribution system, electromagnetic compatibility, earthing, lightning protection, and equipment for hazardous area
  • Flawless electrical Engineering assurance Support in Installation, Construction, Testing, commissioning, and tie-in to existing assets
  • Manage Electrical Safety and Implement safety rules and regulations by providing electrical assurance support during PMN and TP projects
  • Demonstrate knowledge of protection relay coordination studies and testing of protection relays
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical component identification and drawing interpretation (wiring diagrams and single line drawings)
  • Interpret and follow up with implementation of regulatory, professional, and best in class industry standards, international codes, and practices during projects execution by PMN and TP team and
  • Follow up implementation of technical assurance plans for projects, manage the HSE and the technical activities in line with flawless project delivery premise.

Job Requirement:

  • B.sc/Eng. University degree or HND in Electrical Engineering plus any other professional qualifications or Certifications and must be computer literate.
  • Minimum of 15 years working experience in Electrical project assurance activities.
  • Excel sheets & Manual design calculations
  • Site Challenge Resolution & QA/QC implementation

  • Very good interpersonal skill to relate with team members in other disciplines and departments such as Project, area maintenance team, Production maintenance non-routine section (PMN) team etc. within NLNG. The person should be self-motivating, team player, have good oral and reporting skill

2). Maintenance Support Officer

Location: Rivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned HSSE accountabilities and participate in investigation of incidents, review findings, implement corrective action, communicate learning, track, and communicate effective closure of actions and to promote goal zero
  • Support the coordination of the short-, medium- and long-term planning and scheduling of maintenance routines for all Non-Plant Area activities using planning tools – MS Project
  • Support reliability analyses and performance monitoring to eliminate bad actors and for continual improvement to improve Asset integrity, reliability, availability, and costumer experience
  • Provide assurance of controlled and auditable technical and engineering changes for the utility equipment as well as conduct Hardware Barrier Assessments (HBA).
  • Ensures that all new and or rehabilitated/upgraded assets are delivered ready to be operated seamlessly and maintained (with asset registration completed, equipment care strategies, spare parts and documentations loaded in CMMS).
  • Support the coordination of the reviews and availability of critical spares and maintenance support services to ensures the seamless execution of all statutory, preventative, and critical corrective maintenance activities for Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and HVAC related equipment
  • Support the development and updating of the maintenance reference plan for all Non-Plant critical assets to assure medium- and long-term maintenance strategy are in place as a FF50 maintenance initiatives

Job Requirement:

  • B.Eng. / B.Sc. degree or equivalent in appropriate related engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or reliability).
  • 5 years post-graduation experience, 3 years of which should have been in maintenance.
  • Ability to use autoCad will be an added advantage

3). Mechanical Engineer

Location: Rivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze all mechanical designs and prepare all work instructions / packs necessary for static and rotating equipment setup
  • Support the Bad Actors Management process for the mechanical and rotating equipment, within the Area, to identify and eliminate recurrent failures, potential threats and shortfalls in equipment and system performance.
  • Provide day to day discipline support to the maintenance and operations’ teams in driving fault diagnostics and escalate issues requiring medium to long term engineering solutions (> 90day window) to the respective discipline teams
  • Creating, produce, implement designs using CAD and test procedures, also, to analyze and interpret data
  • Support the monitoring of relevant KPIs for equipment reliability performance together with the relevant custodians and decide together with the maintenance, operations, and discipline engineering teams the necessary actions to sustain / improve plant reliability.
  • Ensure that details of all critical spare parts and equipment spares are loaded into the CMMS with the appropriate min/max levels
  • Support the preparation and execution of the major maintenance scope for projects/campaigns for the Non-Plant Asset
  • Manage the integrated planning and scheduling of all disciplined activities to ensure delivery ahead of SLA and excellent customer satisfaction

Job Requirement:

  • B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years postgraduate experience, out of which at least 3 years should have been spent in a multidiscipline maintenance position, or Discipline Engineering position in a reputable organization, preferably an Oil & Gas company.

4). Senior Civil Fabric Engineer

Location: Rivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to progressing of project proposals, opportunities, and business cases for greenfield and brownfield projects through all phases, ensuring cost effective concepts are selected and detailed for execution, thus achieving optimized lifecycle costs.
  • Undertake reviews of third-party, inhouse and legacy designs. Proffer and implement strategies to attain compliance with applicable industry and statutory standards & codes that meet applicable requirements to ensure designs are safe, fit for purpose, and constructible at optimal life cycle costs.
  • Support the implementation of single and multi-discipline concepts for projects asset modifications by providing critique and steer to design and execution teams and contractors in line with applicable industry standards tailored to meet business goals.
  • Support provision of technical leadership by review comments and steer on concept selections, detailed engineering designs and post design challenge resolutions for projects.
  • Contribute to Management of Change to civil systems via design checks to affirm proposed modifications are technically feasible and appropriately detailed, ensuring additional project deliverables like as-built documentation, are updated within approved processes for asset integrity, safety and traceability.
  • Apply RRM principles in particular the Civil-RCM tools to draw up civil assets inspection and maintenance plans to ensure the assets are reliably maintained at optimized life cycle costs, as input for major rejuvenation projects with the aim of addressing obsolescence issues to meet NLNG reliability and availability annual targets.
  • Identify and drive implementation of cost optimization initiatives during project conceptualization by eliminating gold plating and nice to haves as a way of cost leadership.
  • Drive implementation of technical assurance plans for projects, manage the HSE and the technical activities in line with flawless project delivery premise.

Job Requirement:

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering obtained at Second Class minimum.
  • Minimum of 7 years post graduate experience in Civil/Structural engineering and construction with at least 4 years on design of civil/structures in plant, building and infrastructure projects.
  • AutoCAD & other design applications

  • Site Challenge Resolution & QA/QC implementation
