Job Summary

  • As the IT Project Manager, you will spearhead the establishment and growth of our IT services business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, IT, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing projects, developing business strategies, and ensuring profitability.

Requirements

  • 7 – 10 years experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in IT entrepreneurship.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business profitability and achieve growth targets.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT services, solutions, and emerging technologies.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Experience with cloud networking and virtualized environments is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
